On average the worker can expect 25-30 hours/week and up to 40 hours/week based on experience and case load.

Work hours are flexible based on need. Work with clients across time zones may be required (US, LATAM, EU, APAC time zones depending on the case).

Top 3 Responsibilities

\n

Execute End-to-End Internal Investigations: Independently assess allegations, define investigative scope and workplans, collect and review documentary and electronic evidence, analyze financial and transactional data, conduct witness and subject interviews, develop evidence-supported findings, and prepare clear investigation reports. Maintain complete case documentation and conduct work in accordance with applicable investigation protocols, confidentiality requirements, and legal guidance.

Conduct an Ethics & Compliance Program Maturity Assessment: Support planning and execution of an

\n

evidence-based assessment of the design and operational effectiveness of Client’s Ethics & Compliance program. Conduct stakeholder interviews, review policies, processes, governance structures, data, and program evidence, develop defensible maturity ratings, identify gaps and root causes, and benchmark the program against widely accepted frameworks, such as the DOJ ECCP guidance, and relevant industry practices.

Deliver Actionable Strategy & Governance Reports: Produce a comprehensive gap analysis, maturity ratings by program component, prioritized risk recommendations, and an executive-ready improvement roadmap.

Mandatory Requirements

\n

Corporate Investigations Experience: Demonstrated experience independently conducting or supporting an Client investigator in sensitive corporate investigations from intake through final reporting. This should include developing investigative plans; reviewing documentary, electronic, financial, and transactional evidence; conducting witness and subject interviews; assessing credibility and resolving conflicting information; and developing conclusions supported by documentary, testimonial, and analytical

\n

evidence. Must also have strong experience preparing concise, well-supported investigation reports, executive presentations, findings, and recommendations for senior leadership.

\n

Multinational & Cross-Jurisdictional Assessment Experience: Proven track record evaluating global ethics and compliance programs for large multinational organizations operating across multiple jurisdictions.

\n

Compliance Program Assessment Execution Expertise: Direct experience planning and executing ethics and compliance program assessments for complex organizations, including evaluating program design and operational effectiveness, testing supporting evidence, conducting stakeholder interviews, developing maturity ratings, and identifying gaps and root causes. Demonstrated ability to apply frameworks, such as the DOJ ECCP guidance, as a substantive assessment framework, rather than solely as a benchmarking checklist.

Independent Execution and Stakeholder Management: Ability to operate with limited supervision, exercise sound judgment in sensitive and ambiguous situations, manage multiple investigation

\n

and assessment workstreams, and build credibility with stakeholders across Internal Audit, Ethics & Compliance, Legal, Finance, and business leadership. Must be able to communicate difficult findings clearly, objectively, and persuasively.
