As a locally owned industrial distributor, we supply fasteners, industrial supplies, safety products, tools, and inventory management solutions to manufacturers, agriculture, food processors, oil & gas companies, fabricators, and other industrial customers throughout Central California.

We're looking for a motivated Outside Customer Service Rep who enjoys working independently, building customer relationships, and solving problems. This isn't just a delivery route—it's an opportunity to become a trusted partner to your customers by helping them keep their operations running efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Manage an assigned group of customer accounts through our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program.

\n

• Prepare customer orders accurately in our warehouse before scheduled deliveries.

\n

• Deliver products to customer locations on established service routes.

\n

• Count inventory and replenish products based on agreed stocking levels.

\n

• Create replenishment orders based on inventory usage and customer needs.

\n

• Build strong relationships with customer personnel through dependable, professional service.

\n

• Identify inventory issues, changing product needs, and opportunities to improve customer operations.

\n

• Resolve customer concerns quickly and communicate effectively with internal teams.

\n

• Support our Outside Sales Representatives by serving as an extension of their customer service efforts.

\n

• Represent Hill Threaded Products with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience in industrial distribution, route service, inventory management, or Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).

\n

• Knowledge of fasteners, industrial supplies, MRO products, safety products, or tools.

\n

• Forklift or warehouse experience is a plus.

\n
