Leisure Glen Post Acute Care Center in Glendale, California, is looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team!
We have a wonderful team of therapists, a welcoming work environment, a convenient Glendale location, and plenty of on-site parking.
We are especially interested in Physical Therapist Assistants who are available to work weekends! Full-time and per diem opportunities are available.
Whether you're an experienced PTA or a new graduate looking to grow your clinical skills, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Assist residents in improving strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.

Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and other appropriate interventions.

Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.

Collaborate with our rehabilitation team, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members.

Educate residents and families on mobility, safety, fall prevention, and therapeutic exercises.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Current California PTA license.

Strong communication, clinical skills, and teamwork abilities.

Skilled nursing facility experience preferred, but not required.
