Ken Fulk Inc. is seeking an International Purchasing and Expediting Coordinator with 1 + years professional experience to work directly in our Purchasing Department (POLE) to Purchase and Expedite Furnishings for high-end residential and hospitality projects. International Experience is required.

The Purchasing and Expediting Coordinator will be responsible for Creating Estimates, Purchasing, Following Through on Purchase Orders, and Expediting under the direct supervision of the Department Director. This position requires computer literacy, ability to work well with others, and ability to work well in a deadline-driven, team-driven, team driven creative environment. The strongest candidate will demonstrate:
Purchasing/procurement experience — creating estimates, POs, tracking orders, and coordinating vendors.
Expediting/follow-through — keeping projects moving, chasing vendors, monitoring ship dates, and reporting status.
International purchasing/logistics — foreign currencies, international vendors, shipping, and customs/logistics experience would be a significant advantage.
Strong Excel and Mac/Office skills — particularly accurate data entry and record keeping.
Design-industry/vendor experience — experience with furniture, furnishings, showrooms, textiles, lighting, or interior-design projects
Communication and organization — you'll be the primary contact for vendors and showrooms on assigned projects.
Comfort with deadlines and multiple projects —within a creative, collaborative team.
Applicant should be organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to take on a variety of tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management and the ability to multi-task will be required.
Position is full-time; compensation based on experience. KFI offers medical insurance stipend, sick and vacation days.
