Position Overview
\n
We are seeking a mid-level .NET Engineer to improve application reliability by reducing error noise, resolving production defects, and creating actionable monitoring signals. The ideal candidate will have strong C#/.NET Framework experience and be comfortable investigating logs, diagnosing application failures, fixing bugs, and deploying tested solutions.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Analyze application logs and identify excessive, duplicate, or low-value error messages.
- Separate genuine application failures from expected client or configuration errors.
- Perform strategic bug fixing across existing .NET applications.
- Improve structured logging and application error handling.
- Build monitoring dashboards, alerts, and anomaly-detection capabilities.
- Configure alerts that help teams identify issues before customers report them.
- Automate incident creation and escalation through xMatters or similar platforms.
- Perform root-cause analysis and document troubleshooting procedures.
- Build, test, deploy, and validate production fixes.
- Collaborate with developers and operations teams working primarily during CST hours.

Required Qualifications
\n

- 3–5 years of professional software-development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET.
- Experience debugging and supporting production applications.
- Practical knowledge of application logging, monitoring, and alerting.
- Experience with tools such as Serilog, Log4Net, Application Insights, Splunk, CloudWatch, New Relic, or similar platforms.
- JavaScript experience for front-end debugging.
- Experience with SQL Server and basic SQL troubleshooting.
- Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite in San Jose and maintain CST-aligned working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with xMatters, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, or another incident-management platform.
- Experience creating dashboards and meaningful operational alerts.
- Background supporting high-volume applications in financial services, insurance, healthcare, SaaS, e-commerce, or other transactional environments.
- Experience reducing false alarms or improving signal-to-noise ratio in production monitoring.
- Familiarity with Azure or AWS monitoring services.
