Cabinetmaker/Architectural Millworker

Millworks By Design is hiring experienced cabinetmakers and architectural millworkers to create high-quality custom cabinetry and millwork at our Northern California location. Ideal candidates take pride in their craft, work precisely from drawings, and consistently produce an excellent fit and finish.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Fabricate and assemble custom cabinets, casework, furniture components, and architectural millwork.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, plans, specifications, and cut lists.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and accurately.
• Work with hardwoods, veneers, laminates, sheet goods, hardware, and specialty materials.
• Maintain tight tolerances and high standards for joinery, sanding, finishing preparation, and final assembly.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, installers, and other shop personnel.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.

WHAT IT TAKES

• At least 5 years of professional cabinetmaking, woodworking, or architectural millwork experience preferred. We also offer an apprenticeship program for those with little to no experience.
• Demonstrated skill in custom fabrication, assembly, and precision joinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to meet project schedules.
• Knowledge of CNC equipment, edge banders, sliding table saws, shapers, and related machinery is a plus.
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials commonly used in a woodworking shop.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Competitive Base Pay $22.00 - $35.00 per hour, DOE.
