Job Description
Project Manager - Los Angeles, CA
\n
\n
Tired of project work that only stretches as far as solar, or only as far as storage?
\n
\n
You won't be boxed into one technology here. This Project Manager role covers solar, battery storage, EV charging, lighting, energy services and building envelope work, often on the same project. If you want your track record to show range instead of repetition, this is where you build it.
\n
\n
What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
\n
\n
You'll lead assigned projects from early development through construction, working alongside the sales team on customer presentations and with the engineering group, subcontractors and consultants to shape cost-effective solutions before a shovel goes in the ground. Once a project moves into delivery, you're the one running it: schedule, budget, subcontractors, permitting, commissioning, and every milestone in between.
\n
\n
You'll be working across a large Los Angeles project portfolio, helping cities, schools and municipalities cut costs, modernize aging infrastructure and generate renewable energy. Multi-technology, multi-site, and no two projects quite the same.
\n
\n
As you settle in, the role shifts from single-project ownership toward managing a broader portfolio of customers and energy conservation solutions, an obvious next step if you're looking to grow your remit rather than repeat it.
\n
\n
Where you'll be doing it
\n
\n
You'll be joining a turn-key Design-Build energy provider with a long-standing reputation as one of the best employers in the Bay Area. It's a genuine ESCO business at the forefront of that space, not a single-technology installer, which is why the work in front of you spans the full range of what a modern energy project actually involves.
\n
\n
Projects are based across the Los Angeles area, so you'll need to be comfortable getting to sites locally as required. In return, you get a portfolio big enough that you're rarely doing the same job twice.
\n
\n
What you'll need
\n
\n
- \n
- 5+ years of industry experience managing energy or construction projects
- Working knowledge of renewable technology alongside HVAC, lighting, and electrical/mechanical systems
- A valid CA driver's license, since this role has you on active sites as well as in the office
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
What you'll get
\n
\n
$140,000 to $160,000, plus medical, vision, and dental cover, 401(k), tuition assistance and disability insurance.
\n
\n
What next?
\n
\n
If you don't have an up-to-date CV, don't let that stop you. Send whatever you've got, or drop me a message on LinkedIn, and we'll take it from there. A quick call works too if that's easier. Everyone who reaches out gets a response.
