We operate (4) licensed Adult Residential Facilities providing 24/7 personalized care, skill-building, and behavioral support for adults with developmental disabilities / mental health diagnoses / specialized needs. We are committed to fostering an empowering, safe, and enriching home environment.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, state-certified ARF Administrator to oversee all daily operations, regulatory compliance, and resident care programming for our 4-bed /Level 6 adult residential facility. The Administrator will lead direct care staff, manage licensing audits, coordinate with regional centers and healthcare providers, and ensure individual service plans (IPPs) are carried out to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to California Title 22 regulations, Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) standards, and Regional Center policies.
  • Staff Leadership & Training: Recruit, schedule, supervise, and mentor Direct Support Professionals (DSPs); conduct staff orientations and ensure completion of required continuing education (CEUs).
  • Resident Advocacy & Care: Oversee Individual Program Plans (IPPs), Needs and Services Plans, behavior plans, medication management, and medical appointments.
  • Facility Operations: Manage house budgets, petty cash, food service/menus, vendor relations, maintenance, and emergency response drills.
  • Liaison & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for CCLD analysts, Regional Center service coordinators, clients’ families, physicians, and day programs.
  • Incident Management: Investigate and document Special Incident Reports (SIRs) accurately within mandatory reporting timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Certification: Current, valid California ARF Administrator Certificate (issued by CCLD).
  • Age & Background: Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a Department of Justice (DOJ) / FBI Live Scan criminal background clearance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience in a licensed adult residential facility, group home, or EBSH setting.
  • Health Clearances: Valid CPR & First Aid certification, current TB clearance, and health screening report.
  • Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • DSP Certification: DSP 1 & 2 training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience with Regional Center service coordination, EBSH/CCH standards, CPI/Crisis Prevention intervention.
