Behavior Analyst Opportunity Near Palo Alto
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Schedule: Full-Time | 30 Hours/Week | 8:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:15 AM–3:45 PM
Setting: High School & Post-Secondary Programs
A school-based team near Palo Alto, CA is seeking a BCBA to provide behavioral expertise for students in secondary and post-secondary programs. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators and support teams across multiple sites while helping students build meaningful academic and behavioral skills.
Position Details:
ASAP through June 3, 2027
30 hours per week
Monday–Friday schedule
8:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:15 AM–3:45 PM
7-hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Grades 9–12+ and post-secondary students
Work across 2–3 school sites
Average of 10–15 FBAs/BIPs expected during the school year
No overdue FBAs or BIPs
Conduct functional behavior assessments
Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
Analyze behavioral data and monitor progress
Provide consultation to teachers and school teams
Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
Support students across secondary and post-secondary programming
Requirements:
Active BCBA certification
Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs
School-based behavioral experience preferred
Strong data analysis and documentation skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites
Experience with high school or post-secondary populations preferred
