Dental Treatment / Doctor Schedule Coordinator

Location: Merced, CA

Pay: $20–$28 per hour DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

A well-established, outcome-driven general dental practice in Merced is seeking an experienced Dental Front Office Professional to manage and maintain the Doctor’s schedule exclusively.

This is a key role within the practice. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the doctor’s daily schedule remains productive, efficient, and aligned with production goals.

This practice includes 5 providers, 8 operatories, and operates within a structured PPO / Fee-for-Service model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the Doctor’s schedule to maintain production goals

• Schedule treatment appointments strategically to maximize efficiency

• Confirm appointments and reduce cancellations or gaps

• Coordinate treatment plans and communicate financial options

• Verify insurance benefits accurately

• Maintain organized and detailed patient records using Practice Web

• Communicate with patients through Weave

• Monitor schedule flow and adjust as needed throughout the day

This role is ideal for someone who understands production-based scheduling and takes pride in keeping the doctor’s schedule full and optimized.

Requirements

• Previous dental front office experience REQUIRED

• Strong understanding of production scheduling and treatment coordination

• Experience verifying insurance benefits and presenting treatment

• Familiarity with Practice Web preferred

• Excellent communication skills

• Detail-oriented and highly organized

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
