Key Responsibilities\n

- Provide comprehensive mental health counseling services via telehealth, addressing the individual needs of clients from various backgrounds.
- Facilitate client transportation for essential appointments as necessary, teaching clients to use public transport systems effectively.
- Ensure household supplies are adequately maintained and assist clients in acquiring these supplies when needed.
- Deliver services aligned with the highest standards of care, ensuring adherence to clients' individualized goals for therapy.
- Maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements pertinent to mental health services, including relevant program certifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication and support among all staff members.
- Keep accurate and timely documentation, including client notes and mileage reports, according to established standards.
- Support clients in learning vital life skills, such as shopping, meal preparation, and daily living activities that promote independence.
- Monitor clients’ general well-being, adjust safety protocols where necessary, and serve as a positive role model.
- Provide medication reminders, track refill needs, and assist clients in managing their medication schedules effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n
This role predominantly serves a diverse and multicultural student body within the Bakersfield community and beyond, with an emphasis on youth and families. Qualifications\n

- A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in California is mandatory; applicants with associate licenses are not eligible at this time due to billing constraints.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to navigate digital health platforms.
- Strong communication skills and a self-directed approach to managing clinical duties.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple cases effectively.
