Bilingual Enrollment Specialist

Robert Half is partnering with a nonprofit organization to identify a Bilingual Enrollment Specialist for their Enrollment Center. This is a great opportunity for a compassionate, service-oriented professional who enjoys working directly with clients and helping individuals access important community resources.


Position Overview

The Bilingual Enrollment Specialist will work directly with clients to provide support throughout the enrollment and application process. This role involves assisting clients with applications, answering questions, conducting follow-up, and helping ensure information is collected and documented accurately in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate is empathetic, professional, comfortable connecting with people, and able to maintain accuracy and composure while assisting clients with a variety of needs.


Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time; 8 hour assigned shifts fall between 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM.

Hybrid Schedule: After the first 6 months, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule of 3 days remote and 2 days onsite.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with the application and enrollment process for available programs
  • Conduct follow-up with applicants and clients as needed
  • Provide guidance and support to individuals applying for or reapplying for benefits
  • Schedule and assist with client appointments
  • Gather and accurately document client information
  • Help clients understand application requirements and complete necessary forms
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality
  • Communicate with clients in a professional, compassionate, and respectful manner
  • Assist with follow-up activities and special projects as needed


Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients in both languages
  • Customer service, call center, social services, or other client-facing experience strongly preferred
  • Interest in or experience working within social services, community resources, or a similar helping profession is a plus
  • Strong ability to connect with people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
  • Ability to accurately collect and document sensitive client information
  • Comfortable having empathetic conversations with individuals experiencing challenging circumstances
  • Strong follow-through and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple applications, appointments, and follow-up activities
  • Comfortable learning county and state systems and shared technology platforms

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and genuinely motivated to help people. Experience in a call center or social services environment is helpful, but we are especially interested in candidates who can build trust quickly, listen carefully, and guide clients through an application process with patience and accuracy.
