Cornerstone Construction Services Inc is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate onsite construction operations in Los Angeles area.
Position Summary
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing day-to-day job site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. This role serves as the primary field leader, partnering with project teams and subcontractors to keep work organized, properly sequenced, and aligned with project plans and specifications.
You will lead job site execution from start to finish, proactively addressing issues as they arise and maintaining clear communication across stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring work is performed safely and in accordance with project requirements.

Coordinate scheduling, workflow, and subcontractor activities to support timely progress and efficient job site execution.

Monitor construction quality by reviewing work in progress, verifying compliance with plans/specifications, and addressing deficiencies promptly.

Serve as the field point of contact for project teams, facilitating clear communication on scope, status, and upcoming milestones.

Track job site documentation and progress, supporting accurate reporting and resolution of field issues.
Required Qualifications

Experience in residential or commercial construction with demonstrated job site leadership responsibilities.

Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and general field operations.

Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.

Proven capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization and attention to detail.

Commitment to safety practices and the ability to enforce safe work behaviors on site.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading subcontractor coordination and managing field execution across multiple trades.

Familiarity with estimating, project controls, or progress tracking practices used in construction environments.

Demonstrated experience resolving field issues and collaborating effectively with stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.

Knowledge of quality control expectations and construction compliance requirements.
Compensation
Annual salary: $80,000 - $120,000
