Position Overview
Precision Tube Bending, an established aerospace manufacturing company, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking materials and components, performing inventory transactions, and supporting daily manufacturing operations.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where material accuracy, traceability, and documentation are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, components, supplies, and finished goods.
- Receive, identify, organize, and track materials throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform inventory transactions, including material receipts, transfers, adjustments, and issuance to production.
- Enter and maintain inventory information in the company's ERP/MRP system.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist in resolving shortages or inaccuracies.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, material descriptions, and identification labels.
- Maintain proper material identification, lot control, and traceability records in accordance with aerospace requirements.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure materials are properly identified and accessible.
- Issue materials and components to production personnel according to work orders and manufacturing requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to Purchasing and Production.
- Assist with tracking work-in-process (WIP) inventory and material movement between departments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for inventory transactions.
- Follow established company procedures for material handling, inventory control, and quality requirements.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Shipping/Receiving departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory control, stockroom operations, or material handling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with inventory tracking systems, ERP/MRP software, or computerized inventory records.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entry.
- Ability to accurately count, identify, and organize materials and components.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read and understand part numbers, work orders, and inventory documentation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or precision metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of aerospace material traceability and lot control requirements.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management requirements.
- Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
- Understanding of manufacturing work orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and material requirements.
- Experience handling raw materials, tubing, fittings, and precision-manufactured components.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning and inventory management systems.
- Previous experience supporting Purchasing, Production, or Shipping/Receiving operations.
