Job DescriptionPosition: Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Associate
Location: Placentia, CA
Pay: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping Clerks / Warehouse Associates to join our shipping warehouse team. This position will be responsible for preparing, processing, and shipping products using our ERP system, as well as ensuring orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment.
- Process and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Create shipping labels and documentation through the company’s ERP system.
- Coordinate shipments through FedEx, UPS, and other carriers as needed.
- Verify products, quantities, and shipping information before orders leave the warehouse.
- Operate a forklift safely to move and organize warehouse materials.
- Load and unload shipments as needed.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping and warehouse area.
- Assist with receiving, inventory movement, and other general warehouse duties.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and office personnel regarding orders and shipments.
- Perform other shipping and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a shipping and warehouse environment preferred.
- Forklift certification required or strongly preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.
- Familiarity with shipping through FedEx and UPS.
- Ability to learn and effectively use an ERP system; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
