Position Overview
\n
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Superintendent with a strong background in heavy civil or marine construction. The role will oversee project execution, financial performance, scheduling, subcontractors, safety, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead pre-construction activities and project meetings.
- Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
- Manage project budgets, costs, cash flow, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate scheduling, procurement, subcontracts, submittals, and change orders.
- Oversee daily reports, project documentation, and progress payments.
- Coordinate with Owners, Engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
- Support safety compliance and enforcement.
- Review as-built drawings and project closeout documentation.
- Monitor overall project performance, including schedule and budget.
- Assist with estimating, quantity surveys, and material procurement.

Qualifications
\n

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of supervisory experience in heavy civil or marine construction.
- Experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or in a similar leadership role.
- Experience with project estimating and construction cost control.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, scheduling, procurement, and contracts.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel throughout California.

Preferred Background
\n
Experience with projects such as water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, desalination plants, marinas, piers, bridges, tunnels, dredging, waterways, or other heavy civil/marine construction.
