Job Summary
The Sales Associate provides excellent customer service, drives sales, and helps customers select suits, clothing, shoes, and accessories. The ideal candidate is professional, sales-driven, customer-focused, and knowledgeable about men’s fashion and formalwear.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming, professional shopping experience.
- Recommend suits, shirts, shoes, ties, and accessories based on customer needs, style, occasion, and budget.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through upselling, cross-selling, and complete-outfit recommendations.
- Build customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally.
2. Product Knowledge & Suit Fitting
- Assist customers with suit sizing, fitting, and style selection.
- Maintain knowledge of men’s fashion, fabrics, brands, colors, and trends.
- Recommend coordinated outfits and complementary products.
3. Store Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and professional merchandise displays.
- Assist with stocking, receiving, replenishing, and displaying merchandise.
- Process sales, returns, exchanges, and customer orders according to company procedures.
- Follow POS, cash-handling, pricing, and store policies.
- Maintain customer records to support future sales opportunities.
4. Teamwork & Professionalism
- Work with management and team members to achieve store goals.
- Participate in sales training and product knowledge development.
- Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and reliable work habits.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience in men’s suits, menswear, formalwear, or luxury apparel is an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.
- Knowledge of men’s fashion, clothing coordination, and suit fitting preferred.
- Professional appearance, motivated attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays as needed
