We are seeking dedicated individuals to support students in a rewarding contract position tailored for those passionate about helping children succeed in school. With ten openings available, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of PreK–12th grade students requiring additional support in both self-contained classrooms and one-to-one settings.
This contract spans the 2026–2027 academic year, beginning August 13, 2026 and concluding June 3, 2027. The role provides a consistent schedule of 32.5 hours per week, spread over five days, allowing you to build strong, meaningful connections with students and staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional in school settings is highly valued
- CPI certification or equivalent behavioral intervention training preferred
- Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated comfort and skill in supporting students with severe behavioral challenges
- Proficiency in implementing behavioral intervention strategies when necessary
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with individual students and small groups to provide academic, emotional, and behavioral support
- Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities
- Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Implement de-escalation techniques and positive behavior supports tailored to each student's needs
- Maintain accurate documentation regarding student progress and interventions
This position offers a pay range from $20–24 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience.
