The handyman will perform general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure hotel properties are well-maintained and safe. Reporting to the facilities manager, the role involves completing assigned daily tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and facility guidelines. Will include everything from blowing the parking lot, weeding, lawn mowing, pool cleaning, assisting with housekeepers as needed, to room repairs and maintenance. Looking for someone positive, hard working and loves to create a great atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance across hotel properties
- Perform painting tasks as needed to maintain appearance
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas following completion of tasks
- Follow daily assigned task lists for efficient workflow
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance and repairs
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repair skills
- Painting experience and proficiency
- Strong problem solving and time management skills
- Solid understanding of safety compliance
