This full-time, onsite contract role calls for a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting student wellness and collaborating with educators and families to foster positive learning environments.

Your expertise will play a key role in evaluating student needs, providing targeted interventions, and facilitating programs that help children succeed both academically and emotionally.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Solid understanding of special education procedures and multi-tiered systems of support
  • Commitment to promoting equity, inclusion, and student advocacy
  • Familiarity with assessments, counseling techniques, and individualized education plans (IEPs) preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
  • Provide counseling services and interventions for students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Participate in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Offer crisis intervention and promote social-emotional learning initiatives within the elementary setting
  • Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
