Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing warehouse teams, and proficiency in QuickBooks for inventory tracking, invoicing, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Lead, train, and develop warehouse and logistics staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Maintain accurate inventory records using QuickBooks, including tracking stock levels, orders, and discrepancies
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documentation through QuickBooks
- Monitor and optimize transportation routes, delivery schedules, and freight costs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with purchasing, customer service, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Resolve shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management
- 1–2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (inventory, invoicing, reporting)
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
