Position Overview

The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys through all phases of litigation and play a key role in keeping cases organized, moving efficiently, and trial-ready. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable handling a high-volume caseload in a dynamic legal setting.


Responsibilities

  • Organize, maintain, and electronically file pleadings and case documents
  • Coordinate attorney calendars, court deadlines, depositions, and hearings
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including subpoenas, complaints, summons, discovery, and other litigation filings
  • Propound and respond to discovery, review supporting documentation, and assist with legal research
  • File lawsuits and support motion drafting and case progression
  • Assist with preparation of trial binders, exhibits, appendices, and materials for depositions, court filings, and trial
  • Maintain accurate case files and provide general litigation support as needed


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience required
  • Strong knowledge of California state and federal court filing procedures, service requirements, and court rules
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Spanish language skills are a plus


Job Details

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift
