This is a contract position available now through the end of the school year, offering a full-time schedule of 35–37.5 hours per week. Multiple roles are open for K-12 settings, allowing you to choose the grade level that fits your experience and passion.
Your expertise will make a difference by delivering exceptional instruction and tailored support to students with significant needs, collaborating with dedicated teams at various school sites. The ideal educator for this role holds active California Moderate/Severe Education Specialist credentials and is eager to create inclusive, positive learning environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid California Moderate/Severe Education Specialist Credential (required)
- Experience working with ESN populations in school settings
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to individualized student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering growth and independence in students
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Differentiate instruction and use evidence-based practices for students with extensive support needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
- Promote positive behavior and effective classroom management
