About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment to maximize uptime, improve reliability, and support safe, efficient operations. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience and enjoys working in a collaborative production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical (480V), hydraulic, pneumatic, air, and water systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and restore machinery to service with minimal downtime.
- Support production equipment including injection molding machines, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and auxiliary systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Document repairs, maintenance activities, and work orders within a CMMS.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and track maintenance materials.
- Partner with production teams to improve equipment reliability and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all safety, GMP, and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with 480V electrical systems, motors, drives, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and responding to equipment breakdowns.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and documentation.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
Preferred Experience
- PLC troubleshooting.
- Injection molding equipment.
- Welding and fabrication.
- SAP or similar maintenance systems.
- GMP or regulated manufacturing environments.

Large GMP-regulated manufacturing facility supporting automated production operations. This role involves working with industrial machinery and collaborating closely with production and maintenance teams to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
