Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $38.00 to $45.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

Review vendor accounts and resolve payment issues, outstanding balances, and account discrepancies.

Research missing invoices, unmatched transactions, and unapplied payments to ensure accurate records.

Reconcile vendor statements and aging reports to support timely and accurate payables processing.

Partner with purchasing, operations, and supply chain teams to obtain required documentation and approvals.

Support reporting, process improvements, and performance tracking initiatives within the accounts payable function.
Requirements:

Ability to independently assess accounts payable issues and develop effective solutions with minimal supervision.

Strong experience working directly with vendors to resolve billing concerns and payment disputes.

Thorough understanding of purchase order processes, invoice matching, and payment workflows.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:

5+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience.

Proficiency with NetSuite and experience navigating complex payables transactions.

Background in manufacturing, distribution, inventory, or other product based environments.

Previous experience performing vendor reconciliations and researching aged accounts payable balances.

Proven ability to streamline processes, improve accountability, and reduce outstanding payables issues.
