- Setup, Programming and Operation of Surface Mount Pick-and-Place machines, including tending to machines swiftly and efficiently to setup and program new job orders, replenish components on feeders, adjust machine parameters, respond to program prompts and troubleshoot machine errors on-the-fly.
- Place parts by hand using tweezers and tooling for final reflow.
- Visually inspect populated circuit boards for proper placement and quality.
- Setup, Programming and Operation of various machines on the line not limited to: Automated Optical Inspection, Solder Paste Printers, Reflow Ovens, Etc.
- Monitor machine maintenance logs, operation and report to Production Manager when things are not going according to plan.
- Follow written procedures and fill out Job Travelers according to QMS.
- Dismount jobs, perform part counts, and organize jobs for stocking/return shipment.
- Work closely with Production Manager to audit, perform counts, and determine most efficient job order for the assembly line.

Required Education/Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- IPC-A-610 Certification current/prior Preferred
- IPC J-STD-001 Certification current/prior Preferred (Vast Circuits offers training for both)
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in electronic assembly operating SMT machines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PCB assemblies and components.
- Basic computer skills to receive work orders and program machines accordingly.
- Strong vision including passing a visual exam to inspect and identify defects in quality.
- Strong hand eye coordination including steadiness to ensure precision when placing parts.
- Experience with ESD facilities and practices preferred.
- Position involves sitting and standing for long periods of time and carrying items up to 25lbs.
Shift is M-F 7am-4pm, Overtime is occasionally required, late/early/weekends.
