We’re partnering with our client, a company specializing in electrical distribution, to find a Wire Diagram Designer. This full-time, remote role involves creating detailed wiring layouts to support low- and medium-voltage systems. Candidates should have experience in electrical drafting.

Wire Diagram Designer Responsibilities:
- Develop precise wiring diagrams, panel arrangements, and schematics using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Independently manage their workload to meet project deadlines and communicate capacity concerns in advance.
- Integrate feedback and revisions from production and engineering teams into existing drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to clarify scope and document version control requirements.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to process improvements within the wiring design team.
Wire Diagram Designer Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of electrical drafting experience, especially with control panels or power distribution.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, including tool palettes, custom blocks, and layer management.
- Ability to interpret schematics, single-line diagrams, and customer specifications independently.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as NEC, UL 891, UL 1558, and ANSI/IEEE.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills, capable of asserting concerns confidently.
