Calling on licensed Occupational Therapists based in Encinitas, CA! Soliant has partnered with a school district and is seeking a full-time OT for this school year.
The applicant will be working with 5 middle/high schools, and carry a caseload of about 43 students. Students are enrolled in a variety of programs, from non-traditional academic programs to general education settings. A portion of the students are on consultations only.
Requirements:
- California OT license
- Previous schools or pediatrics experiencestrongly preferred
Pay and benefits:
- Hourly, W2 pay of $52 to $62, based on experience
- Health, vision and dental insurance

As a school-based Occupational Therapist, the candidatewill:
- Evaluate newly referred students and conductperiodic assessments of current students
- Determine if new students are eligible forservices; write reports to communicate findings to staff and families
- Develop a therapy plan and IEP goals inaccordance with evaluation results
- Provide appropriate interventions in line with IEP goals
- Consult with teachers, parents, other staffmembers and private based medical professionals
- Manage and make minor repairs to various OT equipmentand supplies
- Ensure compliant documentation of treatment logsand student progress
