An established program with multiple campuses in Palo Alto and San Jose is seeking passionate educators to provide instruction and behavioral support to students in Mild/Moderate classrooms. With a strong emphasis on mental health, classrooms maintain a low 1:12 teacher-student ratio to ensure students receive the attention and care they deserve.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid and active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential required
- Demonstrated experience working with behavioral interventions; open to further CPI training provided onsite
- Prior work supporting K-12 students in special education, preferably with a focus on mental health
- Flexibility to work across campuses in Palo Alto and San Jose
- Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive, and safe classroom environments
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction and behavioral interventions to students in Mild/Moderate K-12 classrooms
- Collaborate with classroom staff and mental health professionals to support each student’s personal growth
- Participate in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Create a positive and structured classroom climate where students feel seen and understood
- Foster strong relationships with families, school team members, and support staff

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
