Position: Maintenance Mechanic II
Location: South Bay (On-site)
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (plus OT)
Pay: $25.00–$33.00/hr (DOE)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
What You’ll Do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant machinery and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance, replacements, adjustments, and inspections
- Service mechanical equipment (pumps, cranes/hoists, hydraulic systems, vacuum pumps, basic vehicle repairs)
- Dismantle equipment to diagnose issues and replace defective parts
- Install new equipment as needed
- Perform Arc, Gas, TIG/MIG welding
Requirements
- Advanced mechanical/facilities maintenance knowledge
- Hydraulics experience (able to read schematics; hydraulic and electrical)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints/specs and safety/maintenance procedures
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screen
