Job Description

We're looking for driven individuals who want to develop professional skills, learn how community campaigns operate, and build a foundation for future leadership opportunities.

Our Management Trainee position begins with hands-on experience representing nonprofit campaigns and engaging with the public. As you learn the fundamentals, you'll have opportunities to develop additional skills in teamwork, campaign coordination, and leadership.

You don't need prior management experience. We're interested in people who are coachable, consistent, motivated, and willing to put in the work to grow.

What You'll Learn and Do

  • Represent nonprofit partners at community events and outreach locations.
  • Learn campaign objectives, messaging, and public engagement practices.
  • Develop effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Work with teammates to support campaign goals and daily activities.
  • Participate in structured training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Learn how to organize outreach activities and support campaign execution.
  • Develop an understanding of team coordination and professional accountability.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as your skills and performance progress.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
  • Dependability, initiative, and a positive attitude.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to accept feedback and apply what you learn.
  • Ability to work independently when appropriate and contribute to a team.
  • Interest in leadership, marketing, community outreach, or business development.

No previous management, marketing, or nonprofit experience is required.

Professional Development

  • Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced team members.
  • Opportunities to practice communication, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Exposure to nonprofit outreach and campaign operations.
  • Potential to take on team support and coordination responsibilities based on performance.
  • A development pathway for individuals who demonstrate the ability to lead.

Advancement depends on performance, demonstrated readiness, and available opportunities; management placement is not guaranteed.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Rancho Cordova. The position includes face-to-face community outreach and active participation in nonprofit campaigns.

If you're motivated to learn, ready to challenge yourself, and interested in building a career with room to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
