Job Description
The Cherry Picker Operator supports manufacturing supply operations within a large distribution center team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, Inventory Control Manager, and Distribution Center Manager, this role retrieves, handles, and replenishes inventory while operating equipment safely and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Pick orders and retrieve inventory to support manufacturing supply operations.
- Operate cherry picker and other warehouse equipment.
- Replenish stock and maintain accurate inventory locations.
- Handle and move loads safely throughout the distribution center.
- Inspect equipment before use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Scan inventory and maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Organize warehouse areas for efficient inventory access.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse equipment operation.
- Experience operating a cherry picker and performing order picking.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Experience with material handling and equipment inspection.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
