Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
\n
Perform laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, serology, and blood bank.
\n
Collect, prepare, and verify specimens for testing.
\n
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
\n
Perform quality control checks and maintain accurate records.
\n
Review test results for accuracy and report findings according to procedures.
\n
Prepare specimens for transport and dispose of biological waste safely.
\n
\n
Requirements:
\n
Graduate of an accredited medical laboratory training program or possess an acceptable science degree.
\n
Valid MLT certification through ASCP, AMT, or an accepted equivalent.
\n
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
\n
One year of recent laboratory experience preferred but not required.
\n
\n
Work Schedule:
\n
Rotating shifts, including weekends and federal holidays.
\n
Shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM.
\n
Typically 8.5- or 11-hour shifts, including meal breaks.
\n
Maximum of 80 hours per two-week period.
