ASSISTING A CLIENT WITH PARKINSON'S
SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS STARTING NOVEMBER 5, 9 TO 5 PM PROVIDING DEMENTIA CARE
TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS 1 PM TO 5 PM. PROVIDING COMPANION CARE. NO IADL, SHOWERS, LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING, OR laundry FOR THIS SPECIFIC SHIFTH
EmpathyHands HomeCare is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Caregiver/CNA to join our growing team in SANTA CLARITA, CA. Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
- Monitor and record client health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Administer medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification or verifiable experience as a professional caregiver
- Previous home care, assisted living, or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong understanding of personal care techniques and patient safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references
