This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while focusing on delivering exceptional care to our clients. Working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you may experience variations in your daily schedule to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that explore patients' trauma histories and help identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans centered around trauma recovery, focusing on building resilience and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address specific patient needs.

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for patients to process their trauma experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention support during critical trauma-related emergencies, maintaining a calm and effective response.

• Educate patients and families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to support recovery.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Miracles of Life Psychotherapy Center, you will work primarily with trauma survivors of various backgrounds. Our patients often face challenges stemming from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will help guide them through their recovery journey, fostering healing and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health setting.

\n

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders along with familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain composed and focused in high-stress situations while providing support and guidance.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to maintain accurate patient records.

Compensation and Benefits\n
