**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE**
First 2 weeks (Training): 9:00am-5:30pm
Regular Schedule: 2pm-10:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate basic working knowledge of SQF, FDA, PMO, and customer requirements
- Perform a variety of chemical and physical analyses on incoming, in-process, and finished products (Moisture, Total Solids, Fat tests, Salt, pH, residual oxygen, leak detector, and titratable acidity)
- Perform basic microbial plating, interpretation, enumeration, and data entry
- Perform monthly scale verifications and quarterly thermometer verifications
- Identify non-conformances on finished product and places affected product on hold in SAP
- Retest products as needed to determine disposition
- Communication non-conformances on finished product
- Support Quality Assurance manager during regulatory and internal inspections
- Review food and safety documentation and verify CCP and preventive control records for failures
Qualifications/Experience:
- Previous work experience in quality control and/or related fields (1-2yrs preferred)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual English (must)
