This contract position is open to experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Clinical Fellows (CFYs), and newer graduates. For those working toward their CCC, district-provided supervision ensures mentorship and professional growth. Desired Skills and Experience:
- California licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)
- Pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Comfort with a dynamic, elementary school caseload
- Collaborative approach with teachers, families, and school teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Positive attitude and eagerness to support diverse student needs
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and document progress
- Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create meaningful interventions
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school district procedures
- Participate in team meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional development
