Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations (preferred)
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Proficient in documentation and electronic records
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs
- Deliver therapy services according to established IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate records on student progress and session outcomes
- Provide consultative support and resources for educators and families to enhance student participation
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input on student supports and accommodations
- Stay current on best practices and contribute to a supportive school culture
This full-time contract position extends from November 5, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering the opportunity to positively impact students throughout the academic year. The role is conveniently based near San Jose, providing a vibrant community to explore both professionally and personally.
