Quality Assurance Inspector
11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Key responsibilities include:
- Moving parts through the final inspection process which includes visual, leak testing, automated CMM setup and inspection, segregating non-conformances, dimensional using measurements devices such as calipers,micrometers, pin gauges, fluke meters as needed
- Must be able to handle parts weighing up to 30 to 35 lbs when wet. This is due to some parts being submerged in a water tank and weighing more when wet. Operator will remove parts from a water tank, blowing off excess water with a compressed air (CDA) gun, and loading them into an oven for bake-out. The water tank and oven are located in adjacent rooms approximately 50 to 60 feet apart, with parts transported using a rolling cart rather than being carried long distances. Once dried, parts weigh approximately 21 lbs and move through a series of inspection steps. Not all parts are this heavy btw.
- Performing CMM setup by lifting and placing parts at arm's length onto the inspection equipment.
- Conducting visual inspections and documenting findings with photographs of both sides of the part, requiring the part to be picked up and rotated as needed.
- Working primarily independently, with most tasks expected to be performed without assistance.
- Physical requirements include frequent lifting, positioning, rotating, and handling of parts, as well as standing and moving between workstations throughout the shift.
- Final packaging parts per the POR (double bagged parts, sometimes includes double bagging the box for cleanroom enviroment packaging)
