Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful difference in an educational setting. This in-person position offers the chance to work at both an Adult Transition Program and a High School, providing diverse experiences with older students and young adults. The assignment is set to begin November 3, 2026, and continue through December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extending to cover a second leave.

What You’ll Bring:

Active SLP license (CFY welcome; CCC preferred)
Relevant school-based, healthcare, pediatric, or developmental disabilities experience
Ability to work independently and contribute as a collaborative team member
Strong communication and case management skills
Dedication to supporting growth and communication skills in adolescents and young adults
Willingness and ability to travel between two school sites (no remote or SLPA candidates)

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
Maintain detailed and compliant documentation for each case
Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Offer support and consultation to school teams regarding communication strategies and student progress
Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student success
Adapt therapy approaches for student-centered, goal-driven outcomes
