Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy technician role is available in a closed door/mail order setting in Santa Clarita, CA. The position is a 13+ week contract with the possibility to convert to permanent employment. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment preparing medications for patient distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and prepare medications for shipment to patients
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy protocols and safety standards
- Assist pharmacists with daily operations to ensure efficient workflow
- Manage inventory and ensure proper labeling of medications
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Pharmacy Technician certification or relevant training
- New graduates and retail experienced technicians are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to follow protocols in a closed-door pharmacy environment
Location:
- Santa Clarita, CA (must be able to commute or relocate as needed)
Schedule / Hours:
- Flexible shifts available: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- 24 to 32 hours per week
