Step into a rewarding contract opportunity advancing student communication skills in a vibrant school environment near Sunnyvale, CA! This role provides essential support in multiple educational settings, working alongside established staff to help manage expanding caseloads. The position begins September 25, 2026, and continues until internal hiring is finalized.
Experience the variety of splitting your week between Braly Elementary (supporting moderate to moderately-severe needs) and Briarwood Elementary (working with general education and preschool students). Your days will focus on supplemental support rather than serving as the primary Speech-Language Pathologist, allowing you to collaborate and share knowledge within a robust intervention team. While each day brings a fresh setting, you’ll enjoy a steady Monday–Friday, 8am–3pm schedule.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) is highly valued
- Prior experience in school-based SLP settings desirable
- Experience with assessments and managing diverse caseloads helpful
- Comfort providing support in both general and special education environments
- California SLP license preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students as supplemental support
- Perform and interpret assessments as needed to help manage high caseloads
- Travel to and serve at one school site per day, rotating sites through the week
- Collaborate with school SLPs and education teams
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress
