Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Care Unit
Location: Chico, California
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM Start)

Enloe Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVU) on a 13-week contract assignment. The CVU is a 30-bed unit providing medical, pre-operative, and post-operative care for medium to high acuity cardiovascular patients.
Patient populations include cardiac diagnoses, post-CABG recovery, carotid endarterectomy, acute myocardial infarction, post-pacemaker care, arrhythmia monitoring, CHF, pneumonia, and related complex conditions. The nurse-to-patient ratio does not exceed 1:4.
Requirements:
Active California RN License
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience
EPIC charting experience
Successful completion of prior travel assignments
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized cardiovascular and critical care nursing
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
Deliver pre-op and post-op cardiac surgical care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
Maintain accurate charting and patient documentation
Additional Information:
Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Holiday coverage required
May float to other units including Med/Surg
W-2 employees only through agency payroll
