Step into a dynamic role as a full-time Physical Therapist serving K-12 students at several school sites. This contract, onsite position offers the opportunity to work across a handful of campuses, providing valuable support to students of all ages and abilities. As an itinerant PT, you’ll engage with diverse learning environments while collaborating with dedicated educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting or pediatrics
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations within the district
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for K-12 students
- Implement therapy sessions to promote gross motor skills, mobility, and functional independence
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into daily routines
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation per district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert insights regarding student needs and progress
- Educate school staff and caregivers on strategies, modifications, and adaptive equipment usage
This role offers compensation in the range of $60-$70 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
