We’re seeking a friendly, dependable Part-Time Retail Customer Service Associate to support daily operations at our Emporium in Castaic. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a retail environment, and brings a positive, can‐do attitude to work each day.
Position Details
- Schedule: 3–4 days per week
- Hours: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (4 hours per day)
- Location: Castaic, CA 91384
- Pay: $20–$21 per hour
- Requirement: Must be able to pass a background check
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable, and customer‐focused
- Dependable and consistent with attendance
- Comfortable working in a retail setting
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- A strong communicator, both in person and over the phone
Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
- Operating the register and processing payments (cash, checks, credit cards)
- Providing excellent customer service
- Assisting customers with uniforms and general merchandise
- Processing transactions using a POS system
- Receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
- Maintaining a clean, organized retail space
- Supporting inventory, merchandising, and store promotions as needed
The role also requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with assistance available for heavier items.
