Acu Spec Inc is a precision machining job shop with over 20 years of machining operations in the Silicon Valley. Backed by our owner's experience of 45 years in the machining industry, we are a leader in medical device manufacturing. Our core group of 20 employees work diligently to maintain a high level of quality and dependability our customers have to value. We are a ISO 9001:2015 certified company and are looking to add a Journeyman CNC Programmer and Machinist to our team.
Core Responsibilities:
. Programmer for CNC Mill and Horizontal machining centers
. Perform machine set-up and initial proofing out of programs
. Create Fixture layouts and predesign planning
. Work directly with Operations Manager to execute timely build schedules
Required Qualifications:
. 5+ years experience in machining industry as setup machinist
. 5+ years experience programming prefer experience using Fusion 360, Solidworks, and/or CAMWorks. Candidate will be required to demonstrate competency
Skills and Abilities:
. Self starter and able to work independently with little supervison
. Familiar with high speed machining principles
. Strong verbal and written communication skills
. Strong interpersonal skills that allow individual to work well in a team environment
