Make an impact this school year by supporting students as a dedicated paraprofessional in a dynamic educational setting. Several contract positions are available for compassionate and adaptable professionals to work closely with students in PreK–12, providing one-to-one assistance and support within self-contained classrooms. This opportunity runs from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, offering the chance to make a difference across a full academic year.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- CPI certification (or comparable behavioral intervention training) preferred
- Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) encouraged to apply
- Experience working with PreK–12 students, particularly those exhibiting significant behavioral challenges
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and resourceful in high-intensity situations
- Collaborative spirit with teachers and other school staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized (1:1) support to students with varying needs
- Assist classroom teachers in managing a self-contained class environment
- Employ behavioral interventions and de-escalation techniques as needed
- Track and communicate student progress and incidents effectively
- Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere that encourages growth and learning
This contract role offers the consistency of a 32.5-hour workweek across five days, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with both students and colleagues. Compensation for these positions may range from $20 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
