Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique staffing firm located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. We specialize in connecting local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking a Temporary Special Education Records Specialist for a public charter school in Maricopa, CA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

· Maintain and organize student records and CUMEs

· Request records from previous schools

· Process records transfers to receiving schools

· Assist with student enrollment documentation

· Process student withdrawal paperwork

· Verify student enrollment and attendance information

· Maintain transcript and academic records

· Process transcript and records requests

· Update and maintain student databases

· Ensure accuracy of student information and files

· Maintain confidential student records and documents

· Archive and organize inactive files

· Process legal and custody-related documentation

· Prepare reports, logs, and tracking spreadsheets

· Communicate with schools, families, and staff regarding records

· Support Special Education administrative functions

· Ensure compliance with student records regulations and procedures

· Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:

· Must be able to pass a Live Scan background check

· 2+ years of administrative or office support experience

· Previous school, education, or student records experience preferred

· Experience maintaining confidential records and files

· Strong data entry and document management skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

· Experience working with databases and spreadsheets

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Position Type: Temporary

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm

Pay Rate: $20/hour
