If you’re a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC or Clinical Fellow Year status, or a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), your skills can make a real impact. This full-time, school-based contract role offers 7.5-hour workdays working directly with students across kindergarten through eighth grade, starting in August.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- SLPs: Hold a valid SLP license or certification (CCC or CFY candidates welcome)
- SLPAs: Active certification and experience in school or healthcare settings
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school-based or teletherapy environments
- Demonstrated ability to provide engaging, effective therapy to diverse learners
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-8 students, adapting methods to meet individual goals
- Collaborate routinely with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy based on IEP requirements and student progress
- Maintain detailed, timely records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Support inclusive and positive learning experiences for all students
