Commercial Insurance Producer - Insurance - Base Salary to 100k/year - Fresno, CA

Our client is an established independent insurance agency seeking a Commercial Insurance Producer to develop new business and manage commercial insurance accounts. This position focuses on commercial property and casualty (P&C) insurance sales, business development, and client relationship management. Candidates located in California or Utah will be considered.

Responsibilities:

Generate new commercial insurance business through prospecting, lead generation, referrals, and business development.
Develop and maintain a commercial insurance book of business through new account acquisition, renewals, and account retention.
Identify commercial clients' insurance coverage needs and recommend appropriate property and casualty insurance solutions.
Develop insurance proposals, obtain carrier quotes, and present commercial insurance coverage options to prospective clients.
Work with insurance carriers and account management teams to coordinate policy placement, renewals, and coverage adjustments.
Manage commercial insurance accounts across industries, including agriculture, construction, healthcare, transportation, and other business sectors.
Maintain client relationships to support policy renewals, account growth, and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales, commercial lines production, or commercial property and casualty insurance sales.
Active Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
Demonstrated experience developing a commercial insurance book of business generating at least $350,000 in revenue.

Compensation:

Base salary in the 85k - 100k/year range. Flexible draw dependent on experience and book of business. Commission: 30% new and 25% renewal. Post validation: 50% new and 40% renewal.
